i thought of that when we freeze our chickens & are skinned so why not use a cheaper bag or do you have to use those poly bags?

I don’t think you have to use these bags to store food, I use any bag if it’s clean. I don’t impulse seal them though, I just tie a knot at the end of the bag. Technically you could impulse seal any bag, you just need to have the right temperature so as to not burn them.

  1. im not sure i have a similar sealer and ive tried that but the sealing point is so hot it will not work on cheaper bags if they are too thin it will just melt and make a mess
